(6) Black polyethylene convoluted loom holds groups of wires in position and gives the wires excellent protection against abrasion and crushing. It is slit for easy insertion of wires, yet the slit remains basically closed when the loom is bent or twisted. Temperature range of -30° to +200° Fahrenheit and -34° to +93° Centigrade.
(9) A non-metallic flexible conduit known as Loom is used for protection of wires, cables, air and hydraulic brake tubing, fuel lines and control rods. Since loom is non-metallic it gives excellent protection against short circuits and undesirable noise.Woven cotton loom with black bituminous coating.
(4) Spiral cut polyethylene tubing is used to hold bundles of wires together. It is also used to wrap tubing and control rods for protection from abrasion and for noise suppression. Spiral cut tubing has an elastic memory and tends to come back to and hold its original shape. It is easy to use and may be used many times. Use 1/4" O.D. Spiral Tubing to wrap diameters up to 3/8". Use 1/2" Spiral Tubing for diameters from 3/8" to 1".
